A LOOK INSIDE PRIMEROEDGE

The PrimeroEdge team is a hard-working group of individuals dedicated to bringing our customers success every day. Ever wanted to know who the people are that bring you your software? Now is your chance to meet our team and get to know us better in our blog series “A Look Inside PrimeroEdge”. We’re going to introduce you to one team member from each department.

Meet: Chelsea Polk; Customer Success Coach/Training Specialist

Chelsea has worked at PrimeroEdge for 6 years and currently serves as a Customer Success Coach teaching child nutrition professionals the knowledge and skills to best utilize the PrimeroEdge software. Training is performed onsite, online, or in a virtual group setting such as a webinar. The role of a Customer Success Coach requires industry and software knowledge. Every district has its own specific processes for its operation, therefore each training conducted is customized for the district’s needs. This role requires knowledge of PrimeroEdge’s integrated modules and strong communication skills. A Customer Success Coach must be able to adapt to the learning style of the customer and make adjustments to the training as needed.

Chelsea really enjoys doing onsite training for PrimeroEdge customers and is saddened that COVID-19 has put a pause on it as it gives her the opportunity to interact closely with customers. It gives her a better chance to learn more about a district’s processes and operations and provides her with more knowledge of the industry. We asked Chelsea if she could live anywhere, where would it be, and why? She says “Belize! It’s so simple, peaceful, and of course beautiful. I plan to move there once I retire!”

Meet: Shelly Jackowski; Operations Assistant

Shelly wears many hats here at PrimeroEdge, but she primarily focuses on accounts payable and accounts receivable. She has worked here for 8 years and she enjoys that her role gives her the chance to interact with all of our awesome customers. We asked Shelly what her favorite holiday was, and why and she said “Christmas!! Seeing all of the decorations and getting to be with my family and friends makes me happy!”

Meet: Toyotaka Kaieda; Solutions Expert

Toyotaka Kaieda, a.k.a. Taka, has worked as a Solutions Expert here at PrimeroEdge for nearly 2 years and covers the Northeast Region of the US. This includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, D.C., Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia. Taka’s favorite part of being a solution expert is knowing that he has made our customer’s lives easier by selling them a great product to help them with their day to day operations. We asked Taka if would rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska and why and he says “Hawaii! Because of the warmer weather year-round, the beaches, and it serves as a halfway point between the US Mainland and Japan (where I’m from).”

Meet: Rebecca Romo; Customer Care Specialist

Rebecca Romo has served as a PrimeroEdge Customer Care Specialist for 2 years. She plays a key role in assisting customers to solve issues, build knowledge, increase user adoption, and promote best practices through the delivery of high-quality software support – giving districts across the nation the ability to feed as many children as possible. Rebecca loves having the opportunity to create the PrimeroEdge Customer Experience on each and every one of her calls. We asked Rebecca what her favorite book is and she says “The Fault in Our Stars by John Greene. I have read that book at least 5 times, and every single time I cry! It’s a book that everyone should read at least once because it gives us such a different perspective on life. One of my favorite quotes is: ‘You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I’m grateful.’”

Meet: Grace Choi; QA Analyst

Grace Choi has been a member of the PrimeroEdge team since February 2018. She is a Quality Assurance Analyst for the Front Office Services team of our development department. Her main role is to ensure that the PrimeroEdge software is working as designed and expected by testing new features and bug fixes before it is released to our customers. Grace enjoys knowing that her role in testing plays an important part in producing high-quality software solutions for our customers. We asked Grace if she could live anywhere, where would it be, and why? She says “If I could live anywhere then it would be Seoul, South Korea. I would like to live in a different county and would want it to be in my family’s motherland to fully experience the language and culture that I grew up learning about.”
