When is Edge Summit 2018?

The 2nd Annual Edge Summit conference takes place March 8-9, 2018.

Where does the conference take place?

The host hotel for Edge Summit 2018 is the JW Marriott Houston, located in the Galleria area. The address is:

Where should I park?

You may park on-site at the JW Marriott for $25/day; you may also utilize the valet parking option for $34/day. Off-site parking is available for $4.33/hour, or $25.98/day. Contact the JW Marriott at 713-961-1500 for all questions related to parking.

What is the cost of the event?

The first attendee from each district registers for Edge Summit at no cost. Each additional attendee will register at the rate of $295 per person.

What is included in the cost of the event?

Registration includes Day 1 (innovation/education sessions), Day 2 (training sessions), breakfast and lunch on both days, and dinner at Maggiano’s on Day 1 (if you RSVP’d to the dinner).

Is there a discounted rate if we stay in the host hotel?

PrimeroEdge offers a limited room block at the host hotel, the JW Marriott. Visit this link to access the room block and take advantage of the discounted room rate of $179 for a standard room. This room block is offered on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations must be made no later than Wednesday, February 14 to lock in the room rate.

How is the conference set up?

Day 1 is dedicated to innovation and education. The morning is filled with general sessions, including a session on what’s coming in 2018, the inside scoop on our internal infrastructure, and our keynote address with world-famous Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale. After lunch, you’ll choose your breakout sessions. From a legislative update to an “Ask Me Anything”-style presentation with our PrimeroEdge experts, there’s something for everybody. Finish the day with our Product Base Camp – an opportunity to get your hands on our innovative software solutions and devices, and chat with our Product Development team. If you RSVP’d to the exclusive dinner at Maggiano’s, you’ll be invited to join us for complimentary cocktails and dinner when Edge Summit wraps up on Day 1.

Day 2 is dedicated to training. Bring your laptop and receive informative product training on PrimeroEdge Menu Planning, Inventory, important reports, and how to prepare for the end of the school year/starting a new school year with PrimeroEdge. After lunch, you’re invited to “Stump the Trainer” – a PrimeroEdge game show where you try to stump our Customer Success Experts to win prizes! We’ll end the day with our amazing prize giveaway.

I am visiting from out of town and didn’t rent a car. If I RSVP’d to the dinner at Maggiano’s, how will I get there?

Maggiano’s is 0.6 mi from the conference hotel. The JW Marriott offers a complimentary shuttle on a first come, first serve basis. You can chat with the front desk in order to secure a spot on the shuttle.

If I did not RSVP for the dinner at Maggiano’s, may I still attend?

Unfortunately, seating is limited at our private dinner. Only the first 125 Edge Summit attendees who RSVP’d to the dinner will be able to attend.

Who is eligible for prizes?

All attendees will be entered to win one of our amazing prizes – including tickets to the world-famous Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. All prizes will be awarded at the end of Day 2. You must be present to win!

What should I bring?

  • A notepad and pen, to take notes at our educational sessions
  • Comfortable shoes, to walk around the area, the Galleria shopping center, or the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
  • Clothing for Houston in March (average temperatures are a high of 73°F, and a low of 51°F)
  • A laptop and charger, for Day 2 (hands-on training)
