In mid-March, things took a turn with COVID-19 but PrimeroEdge RESPONDED:
We pivoted quickly to create and provide solutions to our customers and non-customers during this unprecedented time.
When USDA first passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020, which provides Pandemic EBT assistance to SNAP and non-SNAP households with children who have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals, PrimeroEdge launched Emergency Meal Survey, an online tool for state agencies to collect data and help families and children who have been impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic. This tool has helped thousands of families in multiple states since then and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of that. Learn more here!
With the rising need for curbside pick up and delivery of school lunches, districts needed a way to communicate meal locations to parents and track meals provided to increase accountability and efficiency.
